Podcast 60 – Electric Bike Laws on Public Lands with Morgan Lommele

Today I am joined by Morgan Lommele of People For Bikes to discuss Ebike policies, laws, and regulations on public lands. We start the conversation by covering what People For Bikes does, Morgan’s position as Director of State and Local Policy, as well as her work on electric bike initiatives. We then dive into Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 electric bikes, how they are governed, and places they can be ridden. We also talk about the recent August 2019 order by the Department of Interior to develop Ebike policies for BLM lands, National Parks, Fish and Wildlife Service, and Bureau of Reclamation.
